Welcome to The Real Estate Review. The Real Estate Review is a webpage designed for REALTORS® as a way of staying connected with their clients on a monthly basis. In addition to the monthly video, the webpage offers links for Discounts and Coupons from many Local Businesses and Merchants.
Support of local business by the REALTORS® and their clients is a great way to help these local merchants thrive. As local businesses and merchants thrive so do local economies.
Frequently Asked Questions:
What does it cost to have a webpage? Our intent is to provide this free of charge to REALTORS® from participating Boards. These web pages are supported by local advertising. We encourage REALTORS® with pages to email these to their clients and encourage their clients to take advantage of the discounts and coupons offered by local businesses and merchants.
What if my local Board is not yet participating and The Real Estate Review is not in our community yet? The Real Estate Review is supported by local advertising, if we are not in your community we will have to make arrangements for a fee-based page. Please contact us by email at kwesthuis@aol.com and let us know your interest.
Do these go out to all the Realtors
on our board? Our intent is to create a page for each REALTOR®
with participating Boards. We start with
the larger offices first, then to the smaller offices. Some of the smaller
offices take a bit longer to build because it is sometimes harder to find
complete information (contact info, logos, photos).
How do you get the email addresses (because we have some
members who don't have email on our website)? There are pages we cannot
complete because we have not been able to locate email addresses. Either on the
Board’s website, a company website or an internet search.
If an agent didn't get one, how can they get a
replacement? They can email their information (along with photo and or
logo, although these are not required, but make the page look nicer) to
kwesthuis@aol.com
What return address should they look for in their inbox
or junk mail folder? kwesthuis@aol.com
What is the best way to contact you concerning these
newsletters? Email
How do Realtors send these out to their contacts?
Many Realtors will have clients email addresses. We have sent a sample email to
them that includes their own personalized webpage link. They can copy and paste
this into a new email and send to their client list. Sometimes sending them bcc
(blind carbon copy if sent to numerous contacts at once) is preferred by agents.
Some will send each one individually with their own personalized note. It is
really the Realtors preference. If they don’t have email addresses of their
clients, this provides another contact opportunity for Realtors and their
clients. They can make phones calls to clients and update contact information by
asking for their email address. They can explain that they have an monthly email
piece that they are sending out that has links to local businesses with coupons
as well as a monthly video. This also provides the connection of the real estate
community supporting local shopping and passing on opportunities for savings to
their customers.
What if they need to change the personal information that
is displayed: photo, phone numbers, website, etc.? Do these need to be edited
individually or do you continually pull the info from their company websites?
Most photos have been pulled from either their company website or the Board’s
website. If an agent would like information changed, they should email the
information and/or photo to kwesthuis@aol.com. Once we have created a
page, we will rely on the agent to contact us for changes they would like to
make.
